Sherrie wanted to write a book but she didn’t know where to start. I worked with Sherrie from start to finish- from the initial conversations about what she wanted to write a book on, to the outlines and chapter ideas, to the back-and-forth edits and tailoring. It was important for both of us to preserve her voice throughout the writing process to maintain its authenticity. As an editor, my role is to enhance the clarity and impact of a person’s thoughts and ideas while ensuring their uniqueness and authenticity remain intact.
